Featuring a canyon over one mile deep, Grand Canyon National Park is among the most visited and most photographed of all the sights in the nation. From sightseeing to hiking to rafting, the canyon and its surrounding rim can be explored in a variety of ways, with guided tours proving highly popular. Located in northern Arizona, the canyon is 277 miles long, stretching west and east, which divides the park into two main portions: the popular South Rim and the less-accessible North Rim.
